Welcome to the Lukuru Wildlife Research Foundation, Inc.
Effective 13 August 2020, the Lukuru Foundation formally expanded our geographic focus to include advancement of education and scientific research on flora and fauna in the State of Ohio, USA.
Our original mission, one that we have followed for the past three decades, was to conduct research, education, and conservation within the borders of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. With the tremendous success and growth of our efforts there, in 2018/2019 we partnered with the Frankfurt Zoological Society to take over the financial management of our work in TL2 and much of the administrative process for that region. However, although the Lukuru Foundation continues our presence and efforts in DRCongo, this extension of our focus enables us to expand our reach stateside. This great opportunity is a natural progression as the Lukuru Foundation was organized under the laws of the State of Ohio and incorporated in Ohio.
